I'm a teacher-to-be and I am aware of what to be expected in this career. What I mean here is that if you want to be a teacher, you must really have the passion. Being a teacher doesn't mean you stand in front of the class and teach. Times have changed now. You have to do a lot of admin work, the marking of papers, setting of papers, CCAs and many many more. I can just make a whole long list of work to do. But I shall not do so here.
But the main point here is that you got to love the job. Yes, we might think that we work for the sake of earning income to support ourselves. Actually, we must really ask ourselves this, "Do we want to take up a job which we don't like?" Generally, people tend to stick to one job. The fact that you are going to spend most of your lives in this career, that is why you have to choose wisely. Like in my case, I want teaching as a lifetime career. I wouldn't want to change my job that easily because I just find it a hassle. So why not find a job that I love very much and stick to it.
Every job has its pros and cons. So no matter where you go to, there are bound to be problems and you being stressed up. For that matter, I don't see the point of people complaining so much. Maybe if you don't work you won't feel that stressful. But to think of it, actually those who are jobless are in the worse state because they don't have any income to buy food, to have a home or buy basic necessities.
Whatever it is, I leave it to each individual on how to lead their own lives.
Have a good day =)
