The Final

This is my 3rd and final year!!!! I just can't wait to complete my studies in TP! Well it's only the second week of the term and there are so many assignments thrown at us. I can definitely feel the pressure already. But then I only have one examinable subject which is Food Ingredient. Isn't that great? I don't have to do any main exams for the other subjects. So I just have to focus on doing well in my projects, assignments, lab reports, tutorials, term tests and quizzes.

I really HOPE that I can pull through this semester. Oh! I also got into Colour and Combination for my CDS. So far so good. I've already done some drawings and painting! I take this as a form of destress because I love colouring =)

So wish me luck! =)

Oh my BOY....

Today I met up with Priscilla and passed her the present!!! I hope she likes it very much. I still don't have a picture of it. I will post it soon! Hmmm... So I actually got her this musical jewellery box. Personally I love it soooo much because it's purple and has this butterfly jewels on it. There are many compartments as well so that Priscilla can keep all her accessories organize.

Then I went to meet my dearest Asyraf at his workplace. I think it's more of fetching him from work. Hehehe. Imagine this, as though a mother is fetching her son from school. Well it wasn't like that actually. I just exaggerated. Haha. I thought of going somewhere but it was kind of late already. So we went to buy some sushis at Bedok and walked home. It was sooooo nice to see him =)

And 11 more days to school........

Sweetness...

Now that it's already the month of April, it will be back to school soon. Well anyways I should just enjoy the remaining holidays for now.

Yesterday I finally managed to meet my dearest Asyraf. I miss him very much of course since there's no way I can meet him on weekdays. So he accompanied me to buy Priscilla's birthday present. We actually went to 3 different places: Amk hub, Causeway Point and White Sands. I did some shopping as well but not so much. Hehe. I bet if I were to do that, he just cannot take it. We did walk around to see some things, sort of like window shopping.

Then I asked him to try this Strawberry Milk Tea from Sweet Talk. Ya all thanks to Priscilla. She was the one who introduced it to me. I'm not a strawberry person. But somehow I like it. Hahaha. So I thought he would also like it... and actually I'm right =) And as usual we bought sushis plus some snacks from Old Chang kee and these sour gummies.

I shall not reveal what I actually got for Priscilla just as yet. Her birthday will be just next week and I'm so looking forward to it. All I can say that the present is so PRETTY =)

So just look out for my next entry then....

Shopping Spree

Since when was the last time I blogged about shopping? I have no idea. It has been quite some time. Today I met up with Pris to do shopping! After days of postponing our plan, we really shopped like there's no tomorrow. Hahaha.

Ok I spent about $113 in total BUT inclusive of packed food for family and transportation fee. Well I still think that I got lots of good buy. Let me start off with the shopping plan.

Pris and I already had planned to go to 4 places: Bedok, Bugis, Pasir Ris and Tampines. However, along the way, she decided to go to Tekka too. So that makes it 5 places instead. Imagine this, we went to 5 different places to shop within a day!!!

So we decided to go to Bedok first. You can find cheap shoes. I bought 2 pairs of slippers. Less than $10 each! I needed them since I'm going to start school soon. All my other slippers were worn off. Pris bought some nail polish too.

Then we went to Bugis to find cheap bags for myself. I managed to buy one big black bag. In a way it will make my life easier as I can just chuck everything inside. Haha. Apart from that, this purse caught my attention. My brother wanted a pouch for his PSP and everywhere I go it's not cheap. So I thought that this would be so perfect for him to keep his PSP safe. The purse comes with a strap too. It's only $3.90. And I think it's not that girlish also. So it was a good buy again!!!

Pris also bought this perfume miniature whereby you can just fill it up with whichever fragrance that is available there. These are well-known fragrances such as Romance by Ralph Lauren, Curious by Britney Spears, J'adore by Chritian Dior and many others too. The miniature comes in different sizes such as 1ml, 10ml and so on. You can choose whichever designs of the bottle spray too. Pris got the Romance by Ralph Lauren. The scent is very strong. I also like it very much. She paid $17 inclusive of the bottle spray. I must say that this is good for buying as a gift or even for yourself. You can even go to that place again and refill other fragrances plus it will be a 10% off!

We even went to the Pet Safari. Pris wanted to buy some things for her hamsters and the dog. She bought bedding and food. Since April is her birthday month, she gets a 15% discount for a purchase of $35 and above. I was walking around and I just couldn't resist when it comes to pet rabbits/bunnies. They looked so cute and I just feel like holding them.

After that we went to Tekka for a while. Pris wanted to get her callback card. Since we were on the way, I might as well buy some all-time favourite ladoos for my mother. And I also bought this sort of like vadai miniatures. I forgot what is it called. It's very spicy and it comes with this sweet self-made gravy. The gravy looks like curry though. So it is a mixture of sweet and spicy. I love it... This is my first time eating that.

Without wasting anymore time, we went to Tampines. We never really shopped there. It was more of window shopping. Pris was looking around for a pair of running shoes. But we couldn't resist looking at this chocolate shop. Pris bought this double choc cookies and one of them is actually with cornflakes. The cookies have a rich chocolate taste that just melts in your mouth. It's seliing at 5 pieces for $4.

The highlight of the day would be going to Pasir Ris. We actuall went crazy. We bought cheap heels for $10.95 each. Ok Pris had the best deal. 2 pairs for $10.95!! Wah I just couldn't help it but to buy. Then I bought a nice small bag for $10.

Wah I'm really worn out after all those walking and shopping plus carrying those plastic bags. But I'm so happy that I get to do this with my greatest friend, Pris. I had a fun time with you. We shall do this again during our next holiday!!! Ok I shall rest now =)

A Man's Heart...

Like they often say, "The Way to a Man's Heart is Through His Stomach". Well isn't that true? I mean technically women are created in such a way that they are good with household chores including cooking. Personally I feel that it is a shame that women complain that oh they can't cook or else they would break a nail or their hands would become rough. Or they say they can't cook at all. Bullshit. It's a matter she wants to or not.

If a woman can't cook, she can always learn how to. There are so many user friendly recipe books anywhere and cheap too! Ok maybe you don't want to waste money. You can always go online. Just type in the dish name and wah lah! you can get thousands of it. Another way would be learning it from your mother, aunts, grandmother, relatives or friends who are good at cooking. Well I don't think its embarrassing to ask right because you want to learn how to cook and that is a good thing.

Even though I don't cook at all at home. Ok I ever cook a few dishes taught by my mum the last time. At least I tried right? I even tried baking once in a while. It takes practice to get to near perfection.

When I have my own house and my very own kitchen to myself, I won't be surprise if I would always be there trying out new dishes each time. Honestly I love to cook because it makes me happy when my loved ones especially my dearest, family and friends enjoy eating the food I have made for them. Usually I would put in so much effort to whip up something nice. All the more when I see the food look all so yummy and taste delicious. I feel like I want to cook more and try something different.

And when I do get married, I want to be there to cook for my dearest husband as well as for my kids. I think that by having some cooking skills I really feel proud that I am the woman I should be. Hahahaha. At least I can cook. For now I think I like to bake cakes and cookies more than cooking dishes. Well I can never know when I am much older I might love to cook anything =)

I think I should be right about this. A man loves if the woman can cook for him anything delicious to his tastebuds. You tell me which man can resist good food? Hahaha. He definitely has to eat everyday. And if he has a woman who can cook for him everyday or anything he loves then I guess he's the luckiest man on earth. Hehehehe. Oh.. and I wish I can be that woman for my dearest.... =)

Yum Yum Yum...

I was all smiles when dearest Asyraf asked me if I'm free today. People might be wondering why. Well sadly but true, I can't really spend much time with him for the next 3 months =( Hmm... due to his back. He was told to do only lightduty from now onwards which means to say he has to go to work everyday office hours except for the weekends. Even though he has the weekends, he needs to spend time with his friends and family as well right? Or even to rest at home. So we shall see how things will go =)

I'm glad that today is a Good Friday. So he doesn't have to report to work! Indeed it is a good friday. Hahaha. So we decided to go somewhere peaceful and just enjoy each other's company.

Not to mention, we had other companies too, FOOD! We bought 6 doughnuts from Munchy Donuts, Ben and Jerry's Turtle Soup Ice Cream and sushis! Ya I know, these are sinful foods. But what the heck right? Once in the while we can indulge in these kind of foods. It was nice to share good things with a loved one...

Maybe we shall try other foods, dearest Asyraf??? =)

Hehehehe...

Adios!

Red & Green

I met my dearest Asyraf today. We looked like as though we are celebrating Christmas. He wore a red polo t-shirt while I wore a green top. Hahahaha.

Then I had the most embarrassing moment while walking up the stairs of the bus. One of my slippers actually slip out of my foot. Ya all thanks to my dearest for stepping on it and I happened to let it slipped. LOL! I was sooooo embarrassed by the fact that a girl had to pick up for me. Then I was like causing an obstruction there. I wanted to put on my slipper but in the end I just walked up first because my bag was heavy as I had my laptop in it. Now I just couldn't stop laughing as how silly I looked at that moment.

Ok back to our outing. We decided to go to Causeway Point to watch the movie, Rule #1. I thought the movie was ok. I would give a rating of 3/5. As usual we would buy some food outside of the cinema. We bought some sushis, chocolates, muruku and saba fillet. I love the fillet very much =)

Who would have thought today is our 16th month too. I couldn't asked for more as I get to spend quality time with Asyraf =D

What a Jog!

I can't remember when was the last time I jogged. Seriously, I've been busy with school, attachment and of course me being lazy =) Usually I can afford to jog during my holidays. Other than that I would be tired and too lazy to get out to jog. Hehehe.

So my dearest Asyraf dragged me to Bedok Reservoir to jog with him. Yes it is the first time I jog with him. Hahaha. I tell you, guys can really run without looking all so tired. There I was trying to catch up with him and I'm having all the cramps. Not season enough. Hahaha. But it was worth it. At the end of the day I managed to run at least about 1.5km? Come on for a start it's ok right? But I'm proud of myself though and of course my dearest for encouraging me.

It was nice to enjoy the scenery while running with my loved one. But it got too hot later on. I just couldn't stand the heat. Maybe we shall have to go much earlier. IF we can. Hahahaha.

Actually come to think of it, it wasn't too bad to run with a guy or your boyfriend. I think it gives you more motivation to do so. Hahaha. So maybe if you girls out there want to run do ask a guy along. You won't chit chat that much and you concentrate on running more =)

Learning Journey

Although my attachment has ended, I still wanted to go for their Learning Journey since I put so much effort in finding the contacts. So a total of 32 students from the 3 different streams, 2 Homec teachers plus myself came.

We went to 2 different places: Baking Industry Training Centre(BITC) which is located at Keppel Road and JJ Drinks Manufacturing Pte Ltd which is located at Tuas.

We made doughnuts while we were at BITC. It was a fun experience. The students were given the opportunity to do hands on. Then after lunch at Vivo, we headed to Tuas. While at JJ Manufacturing, the students were divided into 2 groups. One group went for the production tour while the other went for drink testing and presentation.

I know that all of them had fun so do I!!! =)

So now I shall present to you all the pictures....

*P.S. Do take note of a letter A on one of the doughnuts =)

Priscilla

I met my beloved Priscilla today. After so long right makkals? LOL...

It was funny to start our day today. I was supposed to meet her in the train. She specifically tell me where is she sitting. Guess what.... Blur like 'sotong' I boarded the first train. When I went to the front, she wasn't there. Of course I panicked. I called her 4 times and yet she never answer my call. Then I thought that since I'm already in the train so I just meet her at City Hall. Upon reaching Paya Lebar, she called me and told me to get off and took the other train. So all along she was on the second train. Who would have thought things could go wrong like that right? Hahaha.

I was laughing when I saw her but at the same time felt relieved. At least I boarded the right one already. Hehehe. We went to Marina Square to have our lunch. We ate at Seoul Garden. As usual, we updated each other. It has been a while since I meet up with her. It was nice to see her again. After that we looked at some pretty shoes. Hopefully we can go shopping with our next pay ah makkals!

We also went to Little India. We actually went the wrong way. Typical us! But eventually we managed to get to our destination. Hahaha. I wanted to go there because I wanted to go for eyebrow threading. We even bought similar umbrellas!!! Rainbow colour! Hehehe. What do you expect right? It has been raining cats and dogs. We also bought some Indian sweets for our families.

Then we headed on to Tampines. I packed some food while Pris bought some groceries. I accompanied Pris back home. Apparently, she forgotten to bring the cupcakes she baked for me. Hahaha. I really appreciate her effort to bake them only yesterday night!! Thanks a lot Pris!!! =D

Rain and Kimchi

Finally today I managed to go on a proper date with my dearest Asyraf =). I've been busy with my attachment. Now I'm already having my holidays!!! So we went to Jurong East Entertainment Centre. I wanted to go to somewhere we've never been to. We went to eat at Zingdo Korean Halal Restaurant. I must say that the food there is not that bad =). Furthermore it was raining. What a perfect timing to eat something hot and soupy with your loved one. With courtesy of Asyraf, he took pictures of the food we ate just now. So now sit back and drool.... Hahaha...

The Last Goodbye

Today is my last day of attachment. I'm touched by the fact that some of my students took the effort to design their own cards for me. Some of them hugged me and wished me all the best. I'm so going to miss all of them...

Brainless

People who are close to me should know what type of person I am. I can be extremely nice to you as well as being that funny and jovial person. But once someone triggers the other side of me then that's it. I don't usually want to find fault with others or even try to confront them because I'm afraid I might offend them real badly. As you all should know, that is definitely not a pleasant thing to experience.

In my entire life, I've seen all sorts of people with different characters and personalities. I despite mainly 3 types: the one with attitude problem, the one who likes to betray others and the one who likes to take advantage of others.

I mean which person like to be around with those type of people. I really can't tolerate that. I hate when people push me around. Order me to do this and that for her as though I'm a slave just because I'm too nice to you and you take advantage of that. Okay enough said. To make things worse is when you think you are so great that would just raise your voice in front of people and just embarrassed me like that. It's like how would you feel at that moment right? I'm just so frustrated as though I can give one tight slap. Since I have a strong heart and I don't wish to make a scene because that would give a bad impression of me in front of others. I just kept quiet. Doesn't mean I keep quiet I would forgive people that easily after what they had done. I would give that kind of can't be bothered treatment. I would just do my own things and not care about anyone. Well I had enough and I learnt from what I've experienced.

Another thing is when people betrayed me. You tell me things you don't want people to know. So I shall just keep it to myself. But you jolly well tell others things which are not true and people misjudge me, thinking I was the one who make such a big mistake. I can actually tell others what you had told me. But I was kind enough not to say a word. This is definitely unfair I know. I'm so fed up to be around with such people or should I say freaks?

I mean all you have to do is to think before you do anything. For goodness sake, these people are way older than me and they can't possibly think straight. It's like they should be mature enough to use their brains more than their mouths. Sometimes I wonder why do such people exist. They would never spare a thought for others except for themselves.

I shall just stop here. I'm running out of energy just typing about people who are useless to me. I shall just be happy and treasure my loved ones. They are the ones who have been there for me all these while. I couldn't ask for more. To all my loved ones out there, you should know who you are =)

Silver and Purple

Finally I got the PSP Slim for my brother. Well actually it was supposed to be his belated birthday present from me. In the end he did chipped in some money. Hehehe. Well he has been waiting for this day. We got the Ice Silver with all in one bundle pack from Qisahn. I think the deal was not too bad. Apart from that I got myself a pair of running shoes. And I got them in my favourite colour, purple =) Wooohooo! LOL...

Awwww....

I'm left with one more week!!!! Then I will be free from my SIP followed by a long break =) But then again part of me feel that I want to stay in the school and be with the girls. The thought of leaving them somehow breaks my heart. I just got to know them better and I wish I could stay longer. It has been fun and exciting being around them. With all those laughter, jokes and gossips just make my day when I'm in school.

Finally I've handed up my report and log book. Basically now I'm so free in school that sometimes I find myself wandering around the school. But I would offer to help my supervising teacher though. Other than that I would just be reading some magazines, books or the newspapers just to keep myself occupied. Not to mention how much I appreciate my love for contacting me at times =D

Well I guess for now I shall just treasure the time I'm left with. I will sure miss them....

Job-related

I'm a teacher-to-be and I am aware of what to be expected in this career. What I mean here is that if you want to be a teacher, you must really have the passion. Being a teacher doesn't mean you stand in front of the class and teach. Times have changed now. You have to do a lot of admin work, the marking of papers, setting of papers, CCAs and many many more. I can just make a whole long list of work to do. But I shall not do so here.

But the main point here is that you got to love the job. Yes, we might think that we work for the sake of earning income to support ourselves. Actually, we must really ask ourselves this, "Do we want to take up a job which we don't like?" Generally, people tend to stick to one job. The fact that you are going to spend most of your lives in this career, that is why you have to choose wisely. Like in my case, I want teaching as a lifetime career. I wouldn't want to change my job that easily because I just find it a hassle. So why not find a job that I love very much and stick to it.

Every job has its pros and cons. So no matter where you go to, there are bound to be problems and you being stressed up. For that matter, I don't see the point of people complaining so much. Maybe if you don't work you won't feel that stressful. But to think of it, actually those who are jobless are in the worse state because they don't have any income to buy food, to have a home or buy basic necessities.

Whatever it is, I leave it to each individual on how to lead their own lives.

Have a good day =)

My Loved Ones

It has been a while since I wrote an entry. I just didn't have the mood to do so because of some things that happened lately. So let's move on...

14 February is Valentine's Day. Unfortunately, I didn't get to spend time with him on that day. He was on morning shift. It was ok. Anyway, I decided to bake for him some cookies since I got the time to do so. And I got surprises from the students. It was sweet of them. My mum even got me a small heart-shaped cake.

The next day I went out with Priscilla. I got her flowers and cookies. She even got for me some chewy chocolate cookies. We had dinner at MadJack. We wanted to take pictures of our food. But we totally had forgotten about it. Priscilla's friend also joined us. It was nice knowing her.

After that I met Asyraf at his block and gave him the cookies as well as his belated birthday present =)

At the end of the day, I'm just glad to see them smiling. That's all I could asked for =)

Urge

I've been trying some recipes to see if the food would turn out nice. Well my effort was paid off. Come to think of it, I do actually enjoy cooking =)

I'm quite energetic today. I did not have my break at all. To think of it, I even forgotten about my lunch. I had practical sessions the whole day. Started off with one of the Secondary 2 Express classes. A very lively class. I like being with them. They are naughty but yet fun to be with. Sometimes I just feel that they are not even Secondary 2. As though they are already in the upper secondary level. Well today they made Claypot Chicken Rice. Unfortunately, I did not cook my share today. I shall do so tomorrow and post the pictures =) After that I had the Secondary 3 NA class. One of my top best classes too. They made Prawn Cutlets and Kuih Bingkar. I just had fun with all of them today with all the stories and jokes. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest tomorrow =)

Boo!

Halo halo halo! Ya I know I've not been updating my blog. I didn't have the urge to blog. I guess that I'm just too lazy. So far my SIP has been ok. The fact that I actually enjoyed myself. The main reason would be the students, especially those mischievious ones. They just make my day everyday. Whenever I happened to see them around the school, they would be waving and calling out my name. Other than that would be the practical sessions. I've been cooking various dishes. To think of it, I like to cook more. Ya I would feel very tired at the end of the day. But still I love my job. Haha. So here are some pictures of dishes done by students, Amanda and I =)

Nineteen

Today is my brother's 15th birthday and my parents' 22nd anniversary =)
